Got Worms?

The other night I was scrolling the internet by the way of Google and suddenly without cause I was flooded with “WARNING” “WARNING”. The pop-ups that commenced to show themselves were mock replicas of my desktop and the screen for my computer parts and functions. At first I was a bit shocked as I sport all the newest fangled virus protection and I scan on a regular basis for cookie thieves and such.

There was a great deal of blinky red warnings with alarming numbers of just how many Trojans were marching in, no I was not on a porn site advertising Trojan condoms thank you very much. I kept clicking the cancel tab and every time I did there would be a greater insistence that I needed to download the software behind door number three.

Once I got my composure it dawned on me that obviously this was not a bunch of Hacker Worms imbedding themselves into my hard drive but a compete optical illusion and a really good one I might add. I wonder just how many little non-computer savvy humans are sitting there on the internet when suddenly all this pops up and then they click the download button which in turn does load all the Hacker Worms you could ever think of using for bait.

Oh the wish for a computer condom for protection, huh…?
