And if you're like me, the color you spent three days painting loses it's attraction before you get the mess put away.
We doubt ourselves because those people out there who move gracefully from start to finish don't understand those of us who live in the moment. Which is sad if you think about it. So what color are we now? {..cranberry, drab green, terra cotta, camel, brick red, tuscan gold....not one damn shade of white :D}

1.) that comparing my insides to other people's outsides is a losing proposition. Just 'cause they look like they've got it all together doesn't mean they aren't churning and discombobulated inside, the same way I am;
2.) the major reason I have to accomplish a whole buncha stuff (perfectly and in record time) is that I am so, so afraid someone will notice my lack of ____________ (fill in your own blank; mine varies). Yet there are some things that just don't get done -- because starting in on them would expose me to the risk of not doing them perfectly . . . . .
