Will Graham / Red Dragon (book and movie, post-canon)
Although for the sake of not writing the same conversation with slight variants for both of these pups, let's say that Will Graham has been here once or twice before -- enough to have the mechanics explained to him, and to be only slightly wary of the fact that the inside of his shed occasionally turns into a bar.
It's been two months since the case (the last one, he's promised Molly again, and again, in the fervent hope that he can still make promises that she'll believe), and his physical therapist has finally agreed that he's fit enough to be working on boats again. He doesn't mind the break the bar offers, though; the new scars are still stiff and start hurting easily if he overdoes it. A lemonade at the bar seems just about perfect to him.
(He overdoes it a fair amount. Overcompensation.)

This woman, on the other hand, has never been here. She's laughing as she comes in, keys in hand, calling to someone over her shoulder. "Thanks for the lift!"
When she turns, she halts abruptly, blinking at the bar.
". . . Oh, you bastard, David," she says, startled and a little aghast, "what did you have me drinking?"
