Collins is in a fantastic mood today. So fantastic that his professors and classmates kept eyeing him warily, wondering who would be the recipient of his creative endeavors.

Preferring to let them squirm rather than explain, he makes his way to a cafe just off campus.

Can't call him yet. Give him some space.

He's humming.

It so happens there are days when you need to get more than the usual distance between yourself and school. Granted, not much of anything's likely to ruin Angel's mood just now, but he's trying to make sure it stays good. In any case, that explains why he's at this end of town.
"...I swear, I didn't plan this."

"We keep running into each other like this, people might start thinking something's goin' on."

"You say that like some of them aren't already."
Angel's used to the rumor mill.

"I know, and I was being sarcastic." The (not so very) crowded coffee shop requires him to be very close to Angel. Not that an excuse is really needed at this point.

That just might lead to snuggling. Not that either of them would mind.
"Kinda figured as much. Take it you had a good day?"

[mitanarchist]

"Yep. Kept my classmates terrified." Not that he's a troublemaker or anything.

Oh, perish the thought.
"What, they all think you're up to something?"

[mitanarchist]

"Generally do under most circumstances and for some reason, they get very scared whenever I go into class whistling."

[the_antiangst]

This is not the gigglefit you are looking for. ...Except for where it totally is.
"So they're all probably off hiding their valuables, and you're... doing nothing in particular. Makes perfect sense."

[mitanarchist]

"Funny how things work out like that."

[the_antiangst]

"Just means you can strike after they've relaxed."
Angel already knows Collins well enough to figure that's likely.

[mitanarchist]

"Aw man, you figured me out." He doesn't sound very bothered by that.

"Did I say I was gonna tell any of them?"
Angel also has no problem with the occasional hell-raising.

[mitanarchist]

"No, you didn't, and I appreciate that, baby."

[the_antiangst]

"You're welcome. If they can't figure out what you're up to on their own, they could probably use the wake-up call."

[mitanarchist]

"I'll say. There's one idiot I'll definitely be educating later. Wanted to know what girl I'd banged to get such a smile on my face."

1) Angel is not a girl.
2) Collins doesn't like girls.
3) Crude references to his personal life are not permitted by strangers.

Conclusion: The guy is screwed.
