George Sands, Being Human, ThatBar

So, apparently there's a door that leads to some strange pub with an even stranger light show outside. And even more interesting, there's other werewolves here. Right well then... might as well get a spot of tea to suss things out ( Read more... )

"Fancy seeing you here,"

Mitchell has a cup of his own, cupped between his hands for the warmth - although this place is already miles ahead of Bristol for central heating. He grins at George as he sits at the same table.

George glanced up at his flatmate, pleased and surprised, "Yeah, you just stopped in now?"

"Uh huh."

Giving a cursory glance around, Mitchell sits back in his chair, relaxed and at ease. "Weird place, isn't it?"

George nodded as he sipped his tea. He took another glance around, though his gaze avoided the Observation Window.

"Looks like it. You know much about this place? Is it new?"

Despite appearances, Harvey Dent is quite human.

Although he'd be hard pressed to make you believe that, since half his face is missing and he's having his usual one-man argument.

"I honestly don't care, you understand me? Everyone's guilty of something.
"Yes, Harv. But littering, for example, is not a death-penalty offense.
"Why on Earth not?"

Cue attempt to glare at himself.

Well any pub typically has its share of mad sad sacks who are talking to themselves. Usually into a pint, and often older gentlemen who are senile.

Though they didn't have a half disfigured face, or carry on discussions of law generally.

A cracked barrister? No, American accent, they call them lawyers over there.

"Excuse me? Isn't that rather harsh for merely throwing some rubbish on the side of the road?"

"I've been trying to tell him that," says Harvey wryly.

"And who is that?" George wondered.

The young man taking a seat by the bar looks mostly human. Just... well, odd purple eyes.

He has a slim build, barely disguised by the loose trench-coat.

It was hard to notice the purple eyes from here. Unusual smells could be another factor, but George was focusing on his tea more. He noted the person in passing.

Connor offers a small nod, glancing around the place.

Strange things like this made him want to stop listening to Kady, but... ah well.

He turns to watch people, not interested in refreshments.
