Russ / Wasteland OC
How the hell did someone get a motorcycle through the bar to the lakeside?
Maybe best not to ask.
Suffice it that there's a werewolf outside the back door in a grease-stained white T-shirt, tuning his bike and whistling tunelessly.
Nita Callahan (2009, 19-yrs-old) / Young Wizards
The oceans of late have been . . . active. It's a little unsettling.
Nita has her manual open, displaying a map of Earth. Yellow spots pulse gently in the
Arctic, off North America's
west coast and
northeast coast, and near
Japan. She has a cup of coffee liberally dosed with cream and sugar, but it's cooling, mostly ignored, as she cross-references "Humboldt squid" with something.
Matt Ferrell / Live Free or Die Hard (post-canon)
Don't mind the computer geek at that table over there -- the one who's reading a trade paperback of
Transmetropolitan* and drinking Mountain Dew. His laptop (his new laptop) is tucked away in his bag under the table.
He's not paying as much attention to the comic as he might. His leg's been out of the brace for a week, but it still tends to get stiff, and it's bothering him.
*Although his choice of comic may change to avoid canon-puncture, if necessary.
Echo / Dollhouse
Everyone's favorite Bound Active is outside, on the lake shore. She's barefoot, watching the wavelets lap at her toes.
She might go for a swim -- but for the moment she's more interested in the way the sand and the water and her toes all feel.
