Older Billy // Not-So-Young Avengers // Hell's Kitchen Rooftop

The superhero formerly known as Wiccan, and now drifting in a codenameless state, is sitting uncomfortably on a rooftop and wishing that less people committed crimes in winter. Or, at least, they committed crimes that didn't require him to sit around on a roof top like Batman and freeze to death

Teddy lost the target he was watching too, but not for lack of trying--his disappeared on him after it caught site of a green scale.

"I've really got to think of something less... ostentatious," Hulkling says, drifting in on his trademark large green wings before wrapping Billy in a hug from behind while scanning the skyline.

Billy looks up, and then leans back. "Hey, Kermit. You could just turn black. For stealth mode."

He winces when Eli starts yelling in his ear, and takes off the headpiece.

"Doesn't solve the size problem," Teddy points out. "And that building was supposed to be clear.

"Guess these guys are smarter than your average criminal."

[bluespells]

"That's not really saying a lot," Billy points out, grumpily, and rubs his nose.

"Cassie was supposed to have good intel," Teddy grumbles back.

[bluespells]

"I think it was. They just caught on to us ahead of time." Billy pulls Teddy's arms tighter, so that he has a Teddy-blanket. Cold.

"Guess we'll just have to be faster the next time." Teddy pulls Billy closer. "You know you could just magic yourself warmer," he reprimands fondly.

"Doesn't smell as nice," Billy replies, and turns around so that he can tuck cold nose into Teddy's neck.

"I smell like gasoline," Teddy replies with a chuckle, and kisses the top of Billy's head. "Wanna call it a night?"

"Absolutely." Billy looks down at the headset. "As soon as we debrief back at headquarters."

"It'll be short," Teddy says. "Want me to fly?"

"D'you mind?" Billy's been running magical surveillance all night, and he's got a headache behind his eyes.

[alt_hulk]

"I never do." He presses a short kiss, a 'more later I promise' kiss to Billy's lips, and then squeezes him tightly as he takes off.

[bluespells]

Billy always asks anyway. He's quiet as they fly and drops to the ground in front of Avengers' Mansion with a sigh of relief. "We could stay here tonight."

"We could," Teddy agrees. "I don't really feel like flying again."

[bluespells]

"Fair enough. Are you off tomorrow?" Billy leans heavily against Teddy.
