Fry is sitting in a corner, looking secretive and worried.
He has a can of beer in his hand, which he is looking at.
Grub says I can't be in the band any more unless I prove I'm not a Daddy's boy.
They're going to get me to drink beer tomorrow. I'm gonna look a right idiot if I can't...He looks around to see if he's being watched, opens the can

He decides to approach, abandoning his seat a few tables away and hooking his backpack over his shoulder; he greets Fry with a curious smile.
"Hey there, champ. Preparing for a frat party?"
Reply
He winces. Probably wasn't the safest place to try this.
"What's a fat party?"

"Frat party. Bunch of college kids getting drunk and--" Brief pause as he evaluates Fry's age. "...getting drunk. They don't card, but you're probably still a little young for most of them."

"Grub says if I don't break at least one of my parents' rules then I'm not cool enough to stay in the band." he says sadly.

"Bobby and Grub are gonna kick me out of the band unless I can do a dare to prove I'm not a Daddy's boy." he says miserably. "So I was practicing doing something I'm not allowed because that's what they're going to make me do tomorrow."

"Well, I can't tell you what to do or not to do, but it seems this Bobby and Grub ain't worth it. Noboby should make you do anything you don't want to. Know what I mean?"
And personally, if there was a way he could meet this Bobby and Grub he'd give them both a good lesson.

"It would normally be an easy decision, but I like being in the band. But lately they've been trying to get us to do songs with lots of swearing in and I tried to explain that although Dad's okay with it in moderation Mum says words like that have no place coming out of a child's mouth. And I tried to explain that neither of them think I should do it in front of grown ups especially if they are a teacher or policeman or judge or the Queen because then I'll be in big trouble.
But Grub got offended because he writes the songs and he says swearing sells and I said it didn't and we had a competition and I lost and they say I have to grow up or leave. And I told them that I couldn't grow up any faster than they could and pointed out that they are three years older than me and that they recruited me for my keyboard skills not my swearing ability."
