Fry slips quietly into the bar, and heads straight for the fireplace. Once there, he takes a couple of letters out of his pocket and drops them into the fire.
He watches the flames eat away at the writing. The offending words; 'conduct', 'suitability', 'truancy', 'parent-teacher meeting' slowly disappearing into ash.
He has no idea how to follow on from this plan. There's no way the school will give up just because they don't get a reply from his parents, but hopefully it will buy him some time...
