Well, it's sure as shit not Wes.

Too tall. Too old (two years). Too... still.

Too here, perhaps.

And the fact that he doesn't recognize her is a clue, as is the sheathed sword he carries easily in his left hand.

Nevertheless, there is a resemblance.

She starts when she first sees him...his name on her lips...but it's never said.

Almost immediately she realises it's not him. But she does continue to stare openly.

Inyri shifts, a little uncomfortably at his smile.

It is creepy. And she's seen plenty of creepy smiles. "He's...we're...together. Sort of."

It's a quiet, inquisitive noise; he raises his eyebrows, and his smile softens into something a little more human.

"Congratulations to you both, then."

The look he gives her is almost appraising, with faint undertones of are you good enough for the boy who shares my face?

But it passes quickly enough into polite, reserved friendliness.

She relaxes again, her head tilting to the side once more. "Uh. Thanks."

No one's congratulated her on a relationship before. Of course being a criminal's "babydoll" isn't anything to be praised for.
