A breeze blows by them.

If moving air is able to express emotion, you might call this breeze uncertain.

"Oh!"

Rache sits up. (It takes him a minute.)

"I think...Ariel?"

(For her part, Doll doesn't see a Disney princess anywhere near this side of the room, but she'll let the drunk guy have his way for a bit.)

"Rache, is it not?" asks the air.

"You do not look so well."

Rache laughs, sharp and unpleasant.

"It is, and I am not."

Charles finds Milliways fascinating and has stopped skimming the top layer of minds after encountering so many telepaths.

Instead he's found a seat by the fire and leans forward when he sees the state Rache is in, "What's bothering your friend?"

Doll shrugs.

"Originally, he seemed very concerned about people calling Merchant of Venice a comedy. Any more than that and he's been much less forthcoming.

As for him being my friend, we met about an hour ago." She grins. "He moves a little fast."

"He appears to. I have known some men that will throw drinks for Shakespeare's sake but usually he doesn't bring them to tears. I might be able to help. I'm Charles,"

It's hard to see someone quite so distraught and not wish to do something.

"Call me Doll. And this is...

What did you say your name was again, sugar?"

Rache lifts the arm he flung over his eyes. (The room was rotating for a moment. It seems to have settled.) "Rache. Charmed." He wiggles his fingers in greeting. "Forgive my manners."

Flop goes the arm, back across his face.

Rio rocks at games of chance anyway havealuckyday November 10 2011, 19:37:59 UTC
Immediate slow, alas. It is a thing.
You wouldn't think that Milliways would cause much by way of jet lag but you can only stretch those fifteen minute breaks for so long before you need to actually catch up on your sleep.

Which Rio has.

And that's why she's dressed comfortably with a breakfast shake in hand and looking for a place to relax a bit more and kill time so her body synches up with the clocks at home.

[ooc: slowtime tango is the best dance there is. no worries!]

Well, there are some empty chairs over thisaway, near the blonde on the couch.

(There's a man on the couch with her, curled up with his head resting on her leg. He's fallen asleep.)

The blonde, very much awake, is eying Rio's breakfast shake with some curiosity.

Chairs are good! Rio takes one and salutes the blonde with her glass before taking a drink.

"I don't suppose you know what time it is here now?"

Doll thinks for a moment, then shrugs helplessly.

"You know, I don't have any idea. Now that you mention it, I don't know that I've ever seen a clock in this place.

The only thing I can think of is taking a look out the back door and seeing if the sun is up."
