Ten Things About Pam Beesly's Family
1. She loves her mother. Her mother would be her best friend if she wasn't already her mother and had to do motherly things. When things go wrong in her life, she talks to her mother about it. They have one of the best relationships ever. Like Rory and Lorelai off of Gilmore Girls, except not because her mother didn't have her when she was sixteen and because her dad's pretty awesome too. He's right there for her if she needs it. Both of her parents are actually really really awesome. She loves her family.
2. She's the youngest girl of three. Her eldest sibling, Annabelle, is highly successful in a law firm and the other, Lena, has settled down and already has two kids. She feels inadequate compared to them.
3. She really doesn't like when Kevin refers to her mom as a MILF.
4. When she was twelve, she broke her leg in three places in a bike crash against a tree and Annabelle biked all the way back home - which was two and a half miles - to get their parents. She got a cast on her leg for a full month and she got her friends to sign it. Lena wrote her homework on it so she wouldn't forget about it.
5. She's only gotten in one huge massive fight with her parents, but at least a hundred with her sisters. Especially Lena. She loves Lena, but Lena is a huge show off. Karen kind of reminds her of Lena.
6. She e-mails her sisters each week and calls her mother twice a week.
7. Her dad wishes she'd take another job. Maybe something challenging with no dreaded "glass ceiling," as her dad puts it - because she can only move up so far. There's really no ultra receptionist. But, Pam secretly loves her job. Sometimes.
8. Pam's dad is a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson. Her mother however loves Meatloaf and can tell you all kinds of facts about him - her favorite being that Meatloaf is a vegetarian. For the irony, you know.
9. They get together for all the major holidays. All the family. All together. They somehow manage not to kill each other and still be smiling at the end of the day.
10. Everyone knows who Jim is. Which is really embarrassing actually.
