That wasn't expected
Fiddling around with the netbook, registering my antivirus program, and during the procedure I was required to enter my email address. All fine and dandy, except that every time I pressed the @ symbol, the quotation mark symbol appeared instead. According to the information etched on the 2 key, the upper case symbol should definitely be the @ sign but it wasn't.
Okay... so trying something else... discovered that if I pressed the quotation mark key, the @ symbol was typed. That's interesting.
In other news - the first day of spring and we're back to winter temperatures, only reaching a maximum of 23 today. Probably a good thing as the air con at work is still not working properly. Hope it's fixed before the really hot weather comes back.
