I'm not positive who commented "meow meow meow" on my journal but I have a good idea and out of three people who I think it might be, two of you are in Utah. What does that say about my precious time in Utah...

Here is another lovely picture for you, which shows me (without my glasses because Darby was wearing them), Mancho, and Iñaki (in the middle). It seems I was rather close to getting rum & coke dumped on my poor little head. Oh, what a night.

My car is out of working order (seems the brother took it for a spin and wrecked the tire or wheel or something), so I have no way to get to the gym or to town or anywhere, which means I can't work out, photocopy my driver's license, get coffee, buy christmas lights that don't blink intermittently, or anything else even remotely exciting or consumeristic. I guess I'll have to settle for a hike into those hills that are presently amortajado in fog, and I think that is a-okay by me. I am learning words that really come in handy, you see? Amortajado is one of my favorites. Another one that I learned last night is quebradas, and also caracol, which was a good one to learn because before I knew that "caracol" meant snail I had no clue what the hell Stephen Jay Gould was going on about. Yes, a handy and very exciting word indeed. In fact I am thrilled that one of the first words I have learned is snail because snails are quite amazing and I can't wait to read more about the matanza of these poor creatures on the Polynesian island of Moorea (an island which, unsurprisingly, the family next door has visited). And all of this in only the first three pages! Yippee!!

Well...I'm off on an adventure of unprecedented gozo. Maybe I'll tomar some pictures and shit. That would be nice. Hasta luego, mis amigos, ¡pasea un buen día!
