Lemme Be Honest For A Minute
Ryutaro has been removed from entertainment activities indefinitely.
WTF was he thinking? Not only will smoking kill your lungs and possibly give you cancer, you were FOURTEEN AND FIFTEEN YEARS OLD WHEN YOU DID IT. THAT'S ILLEGAL.
Now anyone who knows me knows that Ryutaro ranks #7 on my JUMP bias list, so I'm not as upset about this as many of you are but I do feel bad for his fans because had it been someone I cared about in JUMP I would be livid. Also I feel bad for JUMP. Not only have they lost a member, they're going to be out of contact with a very close friend.
As far as the aftermath of this goes, I'm sure JUMP will be fine as far as sales go. I hate to say it but Ryutaro wasn't one of the most popular members. Had this been Yamada, Chinen, Yabu, Hikaru, or Takaki this might have caused a sales drop and a significant drop in fans.
And I don't think JUMP will get a new member. Most likely JUMP will continue as nine. However if they do add a new member it'll probably be Nakayama Yuma (though I vote Hasshi who should have been there from the start).
I only hope that Ryutaro can continue living his life without being harassed about this matter and that he learns from this.
Edit: I'm dreading future JUMP concerts. I do not want to see all of them crying about this. :(
