plane tickets and waiting tables
whoo hoo i just bought a plane ticket to new mexico. to visit my friend chris who i haven't seen in a bunch of years and it's her 40th birthday so i will be going the first weekend of june. yay to small trips and new adventures!!
in other random news at work the other day i waited on two minor celebrities that are interesting to me for different reasons. first was jeffery toobin frequent new yorker contributer specifically around legal matters and the supreme court in particuliar. he is super nice and i have waited on him before. and then on the other hand i waited on tyler florence, food network persona. also a nice guy. has packed on quite a few pounds since he last taped a show. he's cute chubby.
yeah whos not surprised that i think someone is cuter chubbier. anyone? no i thought not.
things are good.
i am still maintaining all my positive thoughts post birthday.
this weekend i will dine with friends tonite. spend some quality time cleaning my house tomorrow/listening to npr. work saturday nite. soak with the russians sunday.
i feel good about the balance of social/private time, work/fun.
