Will I be an Elementary Teacher??
This is the question. Right now I hold a position for Learning Lab which is an extra class designed (by me!) for students who do not qualify for special education, but still need a great deal of help beyond the regular ed classroom. It is a fun position that is flexible and not quite respected by all the teachers in my building. However, my real desire is to be in a regular ed classroom where I can be ultra creative and effective. I would love to hold a position where I teach all of the subjects aside from music, PE, and art. This is ideal for me because I love to teach in themes and cross curriculums. Ok Ok, i am going to stop boring y'all with my teaching talk. But I did apply to SIX elementary jobs today... SIX!!! I hope I at least get an interview for one of them :)
