Mihara's interview

At Feel Young website, there's a short interview with Mitsukazu Mihara about Shigeshoushi. I translated it, I'm really sorry for my grammar errors and if there's something hard to understand or strange. m(_ _)m They graced us with quite big images. Thank you SO much for this post!

Clearly I need to check the Feel Young website for stuff like this!

Aaaah, I think I might need to start buying the monthly issues because her color art is just so beautiful! That is something that really sucks about compiled volumes. :\
It's also interesting to know that the Embalmer doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon! She hasn't done anything past 6 volumes, so I was expecting it to end around there, but I guess not!

Thank you once again!! ♥

You're welcome. :3

Maybe I have already said that, but actually I'm always updating this post ( http://community.livejournal.com/mitsukaz_mihara/12531.html ) when I found new informatios/media each month, but it's already one or two pages back, I think there's not many people who sees it. XD

I think Shigeshoushi will end at volume 8, probably. Mihara isn't fond of long stories after all. :B

Oh, I forget to say: it's not every month that comes with color images, but you can check at the Feel Young's website the opening pages of it's series every month (sometimes it takes a while for them to update the previews), so you can see if it have a color image or not.
But maybe she releases it in a artbook someday...?

Thank you so much for posting this! I absolutely love the 11th picture with the trocar tips and the electric spatula. I am always amazed and impressed with how accurately she draws everything, from the instruments down to the Dodge Chemical Company labels. I am excited that she is continuing the series, especially since its a story I heavily identify with.
