Yay, the Bat makes his debut! Fittingly against the Joker, too. :)

Clark has a purple robe? Very Lexian. ;)

I enjoyed the progression of the story. Pity Batman and Robin couldn't have lasted a little longer. You know me, I'm a sucker for the Dynamic Duo! ;)

I'd like to see that Wonder Woman/Poison Ivy match! ;)

Don't worry, this just paves the way for someone new to take up the mantel of the Boy Hostage... ;)

Yes, I'm sure there will be more Robins! :)

*grin* I always imagine him as a fan of Kansas State sports (maybe because my husband is) and their color is purple, so he does get his touch of Lexiness!

Yeah, it's too bad! We don't see it because I blur over that time a bit, but they have a nice long run in Japan (I'm being deliberately vague with dates, but I'm thinking it was 6-8 months).

Wonder Woman/Poison Ivy with sex pollen involved might be quite fun! Someone should write a canon version of that... *hint hint* :)

Bless you, John Stewart is my One True GL, so seeing him here is a delight :3

The sex was delicious and excellent, I have no comment other than GUH.

The Dark Knight's debut was everything I ever wanted for it. Love that he began against the Joker. I find it really cool that the Robin/Batman mentor scenario here is a story only the real Marks are going to understand fully, casual fans won't have the back story of how they wrestled together in Japan, so to the general DCW audience it'll just be fed-up Dick tired of this random guy always saving him.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR DISCOWING.

He's going to get the championship belt soon, the first black champion in ages in the DCW, so he's definitely here to stay!

I did like that! Kind of like comic books again, where their relationship advanced in an entirely different book, and readers of this title have to make do with an editor's note and "For more on their history, check out Youtube!" :)

Discowingggg! I am delaying his debut a bit because he's going to be BIG and I don't want him to eclipse Bruce and Clark's rivalry entirely, but oh boy, I cannot wait for a chance to describe that costume. *rubs hands with glee*

Oh gosh, you're right, I've been looking for the perfect model for Nightwing and Jeff Hardy minus substance abuse = perfect Nightwing! I was just bemoaning the fact that I haven't had a good ladder-match the the DCW yet, and now you've convinced me no one's really been able to sell them until Nightwing. He has to have something that sets him apart immediately, something only a smaller guy can do, and that's perfect! As for other plot points...you are very very close with some--but I'm not saying which ones, muahaha.

Wonderful and fantastic chapter. I enjoyed the Bat's debut. Bruce and Dick work wonderful together. I'm sorry they are breaking up but am looking forward to what happens with night wing. Clark still seems upset. I feel bad for him. Bruce and clark were very hot together. I felt bad that bruce wanted clark to meet his adopted father and clark kind of blew him off. I'm hoping there is more going on there. Well done.

I know. I know! I'm trying to avoid the old "Clark pushes for more intimacy and Bruce refuses to ever let him close" approach, but I'm also not ready for Clark to find out the truth yet, so Clark has kind of misread their relationship--and his own feelings--a bit here. Also, I think Clark has some reasons for blowing him off that he's not even aware of--I think he suspects the truth and doesn't want to know it, because he's afraid that would change their relationship. I'm poking at him and asking him what's up, and we'll see what he reveals to me!

Clark managed to keep Bruce from revoking his approval after seeing Dick's costume plans, but it was a near thing.

Ohhh, boy. The Discowing collar? ;)

Really enjoying seeing the way the Dark Knight persona is getting over! And the thought of Joker's "comedy routines" just makes me grin--that's the perfect way for him to be, y'know, THE JOKER, while still being light enough for wrestling. n.n

I'm *so* looking forward to Guy's eventual triumphant return to the States as a Green Lantern "reservist," since the Warrior gimmick is way too good to let go away!

I love Dick's fashion sense! Or lack of it. ;)

You know it! I am really looking forward to the opportunity to describe that in loving detail...

Ooooh, you are right! He'll get along just great with everyone but Hal, too. That's a good reminder that I can actually bring back some of the JLI cast as well...I've been missing Booster and Beetle as comic foils, and there's nothing saying they can't be brought up...

Also, I'm going to confess I bought into the WWE Universe, because having easy access to all those PPVs was just too tempting. *grin* I've been skipping all over the history and gobbling up a mishmash of everything...just finished ECW Hardcore Heaven 97, that was fun. Oh, and 1996 King of the Ring and the birth of Austin 3:16. :) This is a series for which the research is about as much fun as the writing...

Don't worry, I picked up the Network, too. (For the price of one McDonald's run a month, how could I not? ;) Mainly for the library, as with you--it's so much *fun*!

As a side note, there's a lot of other good stuff on there, not just the PPV stuff. I've been watching 1993-94 ECW shows that are up lately, back when it was still EASTERN Championship Wrestling. The "WWE Countdown" show is also usually pretty good, as is the "Legends of Wrestling" roundtable discussion (which usually ends up degenerating into the boys telling old road stories, despite Mean Gene's efforts to keep them on track! XD), and they're now going to try and make NXT their "pure wrestling show," so that's gonna be fun for this alumnus of the Cult of Worldwide. XD

Unf, yes! Of course Bruce would turn getting each other off into a contest! *rolls eyes* I love the homage to Dick being Bruce's student, but needing to step out of his shadow. *hugs them both* Just fantastic work.

You KNOW he would, lol. Luckily Clark is used to this kind of shenanigan, so he can play along. :)

I'm just finishing writing the Dick and Bruce kayfabe breakup, and it's a lot of fun to do this super-melodramatic thing, knowing it's all acting! I'm so glad you're enjoying this still!
