Full review later on, but the short of it is two thumbs most definitely up. Did it reinvent the genre and leave Unforgiven choking in the dust? Nope, but it at least keeps pace. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe was the best casting that could have been. And the previously unknown to me Ben Foster was a scene-stealer as Charlie Prince, the foppish lieutenant of Crowe's Ben Wade. But more later.
Now it's time to hit the sack.
