[ In the outskirts of the village, there is another New Feather. Clad in standard New Feather pants and a blue topcoat over a white shirt and the wings, Hubert carries a folded unitard and the journal in one arm. His fingers are hooked onto a pair of thigh boots.
The ends of his pants are damp and dirty, though he's managed to cover that by folding them up. Even if it's not his usual attire, he looks presentable, which is exactly what he wants as he walks around the village. He eventually comes across the plaza and takes a seat at the fountain edge.
This is a good enough landmark. He opens the journal and writes. He doesn't bother to make an attempt at locking the message. If they're there, they'll get it. There's a reason he made it cryptic and hid his face. ]
