[At least, it might seem that way. Since Ion was sitting down, he reappeared down on the chair and isn't quite large enough to be seen over the table. He is, however, tall enough to hit the top of his head on the edge of table, since he was on his way to standing up.]

Hubert is very, very alarmed by this apparent disappearance and, for a second, is utterly speechless and frozen to his spot. That's not normal. Then he hears a soft thud and rushes to Ion's seat.]
S-sir Ion?

[Because that's exactly what has happened to Ion: looking back up at Hubert from the chair is a small green kitten with tiny green wings. He meows in a manner that is most certainly a small apology.]

It's a cat that looks suspiciously like Ion and sits where Ion had been sitting seconds earlier -- with the same wing color, to boot.
It begins to click, slowly, as he stares the cat down.]

[Instead, he shakes his head and hops up onto the table, shooting a quick glance at Hubert before resting his paws on the front edge of the book he was reading. He came here with the intent of peacefully reading a book and that is exactly what he is going to do!]

That does not look normal at all and Hubert is admittedly very uncomfortable or just disturbed.]
There must be a better way for you to get your reading done. It isn't a hobby a cat typically employs.
