Bus
Man, I am so mad at public transit tonight.
On paydays, my boss lets me go a half hour early. This is because after work, instead of coming by my stop, the bank bus goes an alternate route to pick up the industrial workers and stuff that are getting off of work. So I go a half hour early and I can get the bank bus as it comes by my stop. I got there at 4:32 or so and it usually comes by 10 minutes later.
I waited, and waited, and waited... Three college busses (my normal one) going the opposite way went by. Coming my way, two 'out of service' busses came. One turned up the road that leads to the parkway, but the other came right by me. I was standing at the side of the road, but there was no one on the bus and the driver was wearing a reflective vest, which isn't normal. He didn't stop. I saw him later coming up the other way and he went up the same road that the other 'out of service' bus went.
I sat there for ages. I don't have a watch, so I didn't know what time it was. Then, a girl that I recognize from my usual bus home came and sat at the bench and then I realized that it was at least 5:15.
I walked to the gas station and called a cab. >___< Stupid bus.
