Suck of the day
Got a call from the company I've had *4* interviews with, and they've decided they are currently not looking to fill the position. I spoke to the would-be boss, and she said it was a decision that was out of her hands, and she didn't know when things would be "decided" - guessing that means getting approval to fill the position. She said she would keep my resume, as she is interested in me and would like to contact me if they can hire someone, and asked me to keep in touch in case I do end up not available. She sounded kinda baffled and like she didn't know what to say, or that there were explanations she couldn't say. Who knows....
Blegh, this is over 5 weeks in the making, and pretty much the only positive opportunity out there, but I'll keep myself focused on continuing my search (that hasn't changed much, just fewer positions seem to be out there). Oh, and my final MBA class starts on Monday. Glad it will be over, hope the 6 weeks go fast.
