Blizzard has a serious and unnatural fixation with giant spiders and poop.
They try to incoporate one or both into damn near every zone, instance and quest-line available in World of Warcraft.
I would not be surprised in the least if in the next expansion pack the last, major boss ends up being an enormous, eight-legged turd.
