It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween

Dad's birthday was two days ago, and it was a lot of fun. Sis and I baked him some good vanilla cake and mixed him some maple frosting, but we baked the cake in a pan too large and it spread out really thin, like thick cookie thin. Instead of spreading the frosting over the cake, we just dipped them in it. It reminded me of some dunkable snack food from back in the day, but I can't remember what it was. Couple family friends came over for a little party, and there was good food abounds. Happy birthday, Daddy!

I think I'm going to a Halloween party today? If so, I'm going as Katara again, even though no one's likely to know who I am. Oh well, it's still a fun costume to wear.

I've found a new RPG to help me move on from the dead Naruto next gen one. It's so dumb how attached I get to those things, really. But I loved Tien-shi so much, even though I don't think I developed him as a character that well, and I never even got to use my evil chick Yumeko. Bummer. But now I'm an X-Men new recruit with ADD--sort of--and not as much as a loser newb, so it's not as awkward for me playing this time around.

Hmm, October 31. Bummer. I need to stop unknowingly scheduling long school days for myself on Halloween. Never get the chance to Trick-or-Treat anymore, even though I probably shouldn't be these days anyway. Being old sucks.

halloween, birthday, cosplay, rpgs are like crack, party, dad
