Happy New Years Eve everyone
So this is my last post for 2008....
Had quite a good christmas back home with the folks in Scotland. Didn't really do much, just hung out with the family and took the dog for lots of walks.
Getting back to Belfast was a bit of a nightmare on Monday, Inverness Airport was having issues with some fog. Nothing was able to land there so flights were eithr being cancelled or diverted to other airports. The Belfast flight ended up having to land in Aberdeen, so they had to put us on the coach to Aberdeen to get the plane back to Belfast. This meant that instead of arriving back at 3:15 on Monday afternoon as planned, I had to spend 2 hours on a bus and then didn't get back to my place in Belfast until nearly 10 at night. Was not very pleased, but what can you do? At least I got there eventually. Lol
Supposed to be going out tonight but really can't be bothered. I hate New Year so I'd rather just stay in and have a few drinks in the house. Going out is just too much hassle!
The BF is still in Sydney just now (it's New Year there already, he sent me a text while he was on the beach watching fireworks - lucky sod!) so I am really missing him :-( Can't wait until he gets back next week...
