Damn, I really have nothing interesting to talk about >__>;;;. Well, okay maybe a few things...
If you watch the news you'll know a tornado hit a few parts of Minnesota. It missed my block by four blocks but a few trees in the area are no longer in the ground. Very intense. I was at work when it happened and we could see the tornado building up power over the freeway from the breakroom. It took me exactly FOUR hours to get home and find out if my place was still standing. *gulps* For the last few days the bus ride up the ruined streets is like some morbid "Welcome to North Minneapolis" tour. I've never heard the Metro Transit so quiet... It's even creepier how dark it is on the ride HOME. There's no electricity on the badly damaged blocks. If not for the bus driver saying where we were I'd be lost...
What else... OH, working on comic pages on a DAILY basis is pretty intense. I'm just sketching and inking pages until I finish whole chapters right now. I'll color them later.
Also I'm up for a new position at work. I do 30+ hours a week as it is so the jump to full time won't be that big a deal. I have my interview suit all ready and everything! It'd be Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and a blissfully short 10 minute bus ride from my house. I'm commuting an hour and fifteen minutes everyday right now. Most of that is just sitting around waiting for the connecting bus.
Man, a job that starts before noon... It'll be like being back in highschool but with a paycheck every two weeks!
