I'll see you in court...
So housing court is the most time consuming annoying process ever and we really didn't get anywhere. My landlady now seems to hate me and went out of her way to ignore me or turn her back on me. I asked her if she wanted to do a mediation and in this really pissy way she said: "There's nothing to discuss. After everything I've done for you."
This totally threw me. I've talked to this woman in person barely five times in the year I've lived here. Actually seeing her today was the most time I've ever spent around her. I sure as hell didn't live in her house for free so what exactly is she talking about I'm wondering. There's also the really strong chance this building will be condemned... And then I'll have to get the hell out rent paid or not... I go to trial on Friday for the Rent/Repairs dispute. The most annoying part, which I was ready for, is I have to pay the rent into court. I hate they made me do this... I wanted to use that money for my new place. It's rent I technically owe but now it's safe but this is just super annoying. My new apartment isn't ready until the 15th otherwise I COULD honestly just say "FUCK ALL OF THIS" and leave, and not have to pay a dime to her. I'm just afraid to take any risks...
