"Ted, you know, if I die, you can have my Megadeth collection."

So, I'm a bit bored, but the day is going okay. I made it in to work early again. I think I may write some more today. Yesterday, I got bored so I wrote up the third chapter in my fanfic. I think I may get the fourth out today if things don't pick up. I would prvide a link to it here, but I don't really think anyone that reads this would be interested. Anyhow, I got the cd I was waiting for in the mail a few days ago. A friend from the Vam community I'm in burned and sent it to me. HIM: Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666. Yesssss. Great cd. The Don't Fear the Reaper cover is insanely good.

So. I watched that new reality show where they are doing an American Idol like contest to choose the new singer for INXS (can't remember the name of the show). Dear God. I can't believe some of these people. They totaly botched some of the greatest songs ever. One girl decided it would be a good idea to sing People are Strange by The Doors. :-/ Great, great song. Love The Doors. Poor Jim Morrison was rolling over in his grave. Why?! Why would you go and fuck up such a great song? Idot. Next retard....another girl. This one thought she could actually do Heartshaped Box by Nirvana. Never, ever again should she be allowed to perform anything with Kurt Cobain's name on it. Awful. I'll say it again...awful. The only one that I thought did a really really good job was the first girl who sang Somebody to Love by Jefferson Airplane. She did an awesome job. Mostly because she can actually sing and picked a good song for her voice as she sounded very very similar to Grace Slick. But, yeah, as much as most of them sucked, I'm sure I'll watch it again next week because I had too much fun laughing and making jokes about them...as well as INXS for doing something so stupid. What kind of respectible band would use a reality show to choose their new vocalist?? If, say, KoRn did such a thing....I would be extremely disappointed and probably wouldn't buy any album which included said vocalist. Bleck. Just the thought sickens me. Then again, I probably wouldn't listen to them if Jonathan was gone period. Just because, like most bands, I think once the singer is gone...that's it. Some bands can pull it off, but most...not so much. Some singers just make the band. Oh, like when Zach Del La Rocha left Rage Against the Machine and they brought in Chris Cornell and changed the name of the band....:-/ I was happy that they didn't still try to market themselves as Rage Against the Machine, but I was pretty disappointed that they completely changed their style of music. They went from pretty hard, really good music to.........Audio Slave???? What is that crap? I can't even listen to it. Gross.

Okay I'll move on to something else now. How about Trent. He amazes me everyday. I still can't believe he's mine. I don't know how to explain that exactly. It's just so odd that I created him. Well we, techinically, but I'm just saying. He's so smart and so sweet. He's started playing with my hair. It's really cute. He has the biggest, cutest, sweetest smile in the whole world. When he looks at me and smiles, I just can't imagine how anyone could hurt such a little helpless thing. Especially when it's your own child.

Well, I'm going on break and I'm gonna get some more coffee. :D Muah!

XOXO
