Weekend was too short
Friday was awesome, Saturday was cool just being with my baby. He made my laundry "closet" into a laundry "room" with an awesome wrap around built in shelving system. It is too cool. Had a great time barbecuing with Jodean and Anthony on Sunday. We all watched Rendition...great movie! Had a bad week with food what with Buca di Beppo's, Cheesecake Factory, Ra, The Ostrich Festival, Long Wong's, 5 & Diner and the barbecue. Found all the weight I lost the previous week. This week is gonna be rough again to get back to where I was last week. Even though the food was great, I just don't seem to enjoy eating badly anymore. I am hoping to get my 20 lb lost ribbon next week, I hate that it won't be happening this week.
Looks like I will be traveling to Atlanta all expenses paid by ASU in May, that should be cool. I also got invited to a meet and greet dinner at Monti's Steakhouse being put on by various accounting firms and the dept. of defense. I really don't want to go since Bill can't go, but he will be upset if I don't go because it is such a fabulous opportunity. Most of the attending firms and d.o.d. are looking to recruit what they call the "best and brightest" (don't think I am either) while they are still in school. I'm quite sure I will be the oldest attendee there and I will have to get something dressy to where, but whatever, I guess I just have to bite the bullet. That's about it.
Time to go watch my hockey game and finish my manicure.
