b) Get dysentery, diphtheria, and maybe syphilis.
c) Launch a campaign against morality.
d) Turn into a camel.
Why is my mother's boyfriend sending me texts about how much he loves her at midnight? Why is he sending me texts at all?
I just finished Norman Mailer's Miami and the Siege of Chicago. It reminded me how I often forget how different this city was when it was still the meatpacking center of America. Also, apparently there was an actual forest in Lincoln Park that was burned down by police flares in 1968. Crazy! I recommend the book for a really interesting take on history. I mean, I heard a lot about the conventions of 1968, but this book is just very, very different from anything else I've been exposed to regarding the topic. In fact, I knew very little indeed about the Miami convention. Plus, it's, you know, Norman Mailer.
In other news, the DH rule is still a cop-out and the Yankees should choke on their gilded thong underpants.
