Veterans Day
My thanks to everyone who has served or is currently serving in our military branches. You are the best and the bravest of all of us.
Thank you to my father-in-law for his 4 years of service in the U.S. Navy. You are a very good man and I am grateful for your place in my life.
Thank you to my older brother for his 12 years of service in the U.S. Navy. I know it was hard on your wife and children when you were at sea but all of you were willing to make that sacrifice to keep us safe.
Thank you to my father for his 21 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. While it meant we moved constantly, our family saw a lot of the world and I am grateful for every experience that came our way.
Thank you to my husband for his 24 years of service in the U.S. Army. There has been no better partner for me that I have ever met and never will be. You are the bedrock of my life.
Thank you to my younger brother for his 30 years of service in the National Guard. I know some of those years were really tough - fighting cancer as well as fighting for your country is an unimaginable situation but you still did it. And came out the other side - your strength is an inspiration to me. I love you, bro.
Thank you to every member of my family who has served - you have been there for every conflict this country has endured. You have bled and some of you have died - I couldn't be prouder of you all if I tried.
