Also (aha! I wasn't done!) Finland might have had more success with their song if the words didn't go 'leave me alone, I wanna go home, I don’t wanna see you so leave me alone, Leave me alone ‘cause I feel like dying, Leave me alone, I wanna go home'... I liked it, but it's not really ESC material, is it? :(

And Greece and Turkey... LOL, I was convinced for an hour that it was exactly the same song, and I had just suffered a severe case of déja vu... Greece was much better though, although they could have given Sweden some points, considering that we've been writing/singing their songs the past couple of years, lol. The least they could do. *steals off into the night* my, I don't think I have ever cared so much in my life about this thing, go Ark! (Last year we had Carola, which is one of the scariest musicians here... she has a good voice.... but man, she's scary. So last year, I just cared about us not winning, and Finland finally getting theirs.)

Hmm, I haven't even realised before just how much glam rock The Ark are, and how much I ought to like them for just this fact. Imagine that ESC teaches me something about my own culture, well done!

And, the Russian contribution :) not very good, no, but they were hot!, and they were interviewed the day before by a Swede and he asked what they thought about The Ark, and they were speaking half in Russian and half in Russian-sounding bad English (me: I LOOOVE YOUUUU *swoons in front of telly*)

If the lyrics had been a bit more intelligent, I would have rather liked their song though.
