Yup, a political post regarding Sarah Palin. I'm sure not voting for McCain. I was ambivalent toward the guy but after nominating Palin as his VP and looking up some basic information on her I'm just disgusted. So ever since i found out my mother was once an anorexic (and an unrepentent one at that -- she'd go back to starving herself if she thought it would help), I've had a fascination with the way our culture influences the way women perceive their ideal bodies. It's a feminist issue too, which only makes finding things more interesting.

Lots of bruhaha about the Creationist Museum. Man, how do the fundies get the money for this stuff? And why can't more reasonable and tolerant folks like buddhists or pagans get access to that kind of tolerance?
