Today is Tell a Fairy Tale Day! Seriously, I found out about it here, http://www.gone-ta-pott.com/tell_a_fairy_tale_day.html. What a wacky thing. So tell one, or read one, or remember one from your childhood. I've been doing a lot of pondering about fairy tales of late. Some of them are embedded in our psyche and we play them out as we move throughout our lives. They inform our vision and interaction with the world in ways we don't expect and I'm finding it glorious fun to think about.

Neil Gaiman says it best, I think. He certainly speaks to the heart of a small girl who started reading them oh so long ago...
