And people wonder why we need laws against this shit. "Oh, get a different landscaping service", I can hear it now. What if it was McDonalds? What if it was Kroger? Just because this is some backwoods, podunk, bigot family business doesn't mean that discrimination in business is ok. Otherwise businesses could simply boycott any group for any reason and simply refuse services. Imagine if Kroger didn't sell to African Americans? Yeah, this is bullshit. Shame on Houston for not having laws against this already, shame on Texas for being the kind of place where this man will get clapped on the back for his 'good works' and shame on America for not protecting ALL its people.
