A few more Madeira snapshots...

It wasn't all grey skies when I was in Funchal. I got to spend a few sunny days in the capital, as well, and they were very pleasant. Funchal is a lovely place when the sun is out.

Six Madeiran extremes...

The village of Santana is famous for its triangular houses. As you can see, even the toolsheds are in style.

I tried to clone out the power line. It went well enough in the right-hand half of the photo, but the left-hand half proved beyond me. So I ended up leaving the cable in. Alas.
