Unpopular fannish opinion - I have one!
So, the unpopular fannish opinion meme's been going around again, and I just thought of one of mine that I haven't mentioned much before. And it's this:
I think showrunners should ignore the fans. Really. They should stay far away from the fans, and not be influenced by what the fans want, or by anger at the fans, or whatever. I'd like them to just tell their stories the way they conceive them in their heads. Better stories would result overall.
Seriously.
