Update

So I see I haven't really updated in a while.

A few weeks ago John and I went to PARF with some good friends. We had a wonderful time. Made some new friends, got some new swords and a bullwhip. I got a new Ivy mug and some wine. All in all it was a great weekend and I really enjoyed it. We can't wait to go back next year. We will actually plan for it though and have lots of money to spend and stuff...

The last few weeks here have been winding down essentially. We spent one Saturday cleaning as the house really needed it. The Living Room is pretty much cleaned, the dining room is almost done, the kitchen and bathroom are both done. Now I will finish the dining room, start on the kids room, work on laundry and our room. It feels good to finally get things in order after having them in such disarray for the last couple of months having to do so much and not able to get a lot done around the house.

This past weekend, John had off, and we had the ability to spend the weekend just relaxing. We kinda treated it like a mini-vacation. We took Saturday and went to one of my favorite places in the world, Swallow Falls, MD. There is this trail that follows the river with multiple waterfalls along it. It's absolutely beautiful! So restful and peaceful. I will put some pictures up very soon of it. It was beautiful. We hiked the trail. It's about 3-4 miles long, and took bunches on pictures. Watched kayakers(sp?) go over one set of falls. Just generally enjoyed nature. I felt more relaxed and at peace than I have in quite some time. I kept trying to tell John that we need to buy property down there. We went to the little country store that has been there forever and is one of my favorite places, and I bought a nifty sweatshirt. Then John and I went into Oakland, MD and went to my Dad's favorite hardware store and wondered around. It's a pretty cool little store. John got a few pairs of jeans really cheaply. Then we went back through Swallow Falls, into Deep Creek, MD and had lunch and started to head back home through the back woods roads. It was lots of fun! I saw my favorite tree. It's the prettiest tree I've ever seen, even though it's in a cemetery. It just appeals to me. On the way back home, John and I decided to stop at Laurel Caverns since we were going to drive right past them. So we stopped and looked at the view and went for the tour. It was the last tour of the day, so there weren't many people on it. It was nice. John bought me a jewel tree which I now have sitting on my desk here at work and making me remember this wonderful day. It was incredibly relaxing and fun!

Sunday we went to church, watched the game with my parents, then went home, carved pumpkins and made a fabulous turkey breast dinner. It was yummy. And I haven't carved pumkins in forever, so that was a blast!!!

SO I made a few pumpkin rolls the other day and had sold 2 of them to a woman that did my nails last week. She apparently liked them. She called me and ordered 5 more the next day. That kinda made my day!

Today I have an appointment with my PCP today. I need to talk to him about bunches of things. Hypoglycemia, Fibromyalgia, Heart Disease... Bunches of fun stuff... I will update more on that when I have more info.

Well... That pretty much catches up my life. Things have been more relaxed. This week, I have to make 5 pumpkin rolls(YAY!!!), start writing an english paper, and do my computer work. Go visit a friend(Another YAY!), maybe, hopefully, go visit another friend and her new baby(Another YAY!), and make stuff for a friend's halloween party... (more YAY!)...

Amazing what relaxation can do for you. I actually feel more happy now... Not so much like I am going to cry all the time!
