Because I got into work at 7 AM, I could leave a 2, and still have done a full work day! We really got the worst of it this morning - it was seriously snowing. But it tapered off around 1-ish, and has been turning into icy slush ever since. Not nearly as pretty, and more dangerous due to it's invisibility. Still, the roads were pretty clear, with the exception of the small village roads; which proves that had I been home at 8.30 AM, I probably wouldn't have risked it today either.
So now I have tea, and cats, and have caught up on LJ. Am debating whether or not to do Pilates - I haven't done it in ages, and I sorely need to. But I could also get up tomorrow morning and do it first thing, which would get me going for the day. I am really struggling to find exercise motivation. I've managed to get myself in gear to do most things, but that just seems to be one thing too many. It's not good, as it's really bad for my body and I've only got myself to blame when it stops working properly. *sigh* I'm much better when I have a class to go to: it's more interesting, I've paid for it (some motivation there), and there's other people involved. That always seems to be a big help for me. Generally it's just the "Getting Started" thing. If I can get into a routine, I'm OK. But getting it started is a big problem. {:(
ION: I've got an interview! It's a project manager position on a 15 month contract. It's getting involved with the Dispensery Services Quality scheme for NHS Cambridgeshire, so it sounds really interesting. It also involves publicity, training, and public documentation design. And there's scope for the position to become permanent as the project gets bigger. Heck, even the 15 months would give me the project management experience I need to get into the field. So I'd really like the position.
I'm at 10AM, which tells me they probably have "ideal candidate" just before me. Anyone got any suggestions on how to do project management interviews? I don't have any official training, but I have lots of experience tracking projects from beginning to end. I'd really like to show them the best I've got.
