In the wise words of Ice Cube, Today was a good day.
Here's why:
I got a decent night sleep.
I saw puppies and kittens with Tina. Funny how people are so arrogant, yet tiny animals have figured out something we cannot--how to totally be happy and enjoy the moment.
Halloween Express is now open and I'm pretty sure I've settled on my costume. Here's a hint: I've decided to dress as a John Waters character, and no, it's not Divine; and no, I don't plan on eating any poop. We really want to have a Halloween party and we want all of you to come.
At Toys R Us I stumbled on the Clearance shelf. Tucked in a corner were three Simpsons action figures--a Series 1 Krusty the Clown and a pair of Ned Flanders figures. I spent under ten dollars for all three and they're selling for over seventy-five bucks on ebay, since they've been discontinued for over five years now. What dumb luck. Man, I really want to play with them.
I took a nap; I never take naps and it was amazing.
The new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album blows away their previous albums. It's as good as anything released all year.
I'm sipping a Heineken and listening to music and typing here, and for once in so so long I feel totally relaxed and good.
