People in Inverness are spoiled and lazy. Yes, I realize that I am, in fact, living in Inverness and that I am lazy. But I am not spoiled, you see.
We have just inherited a free washer and dryer in good condition. Why? Because a tenant in this apartment community didn't feel like moving them. It's good to know the people who work here, especially when they call you with news of free appliances.
Other than that, Tina spent LOTS o' money at the vet's office today. Since I'm basically broke she offered to pay for all three. Turns out that Abbey not only has a thyroid problem, but she has a "shitty" colon. Ha ha. Hi-larious! But seriously, her colon is in less than good shape. Oh, and she may have heartworms. She's apparently symptomatic, so they're running a test.
At any rate, Abbey is an expensive kitty. Emaleth has ear problems (hey, no jokes about her weight!) and Seamus is fine, minus his mean temper while being stuck and probed. Can't blame him, really.
I have a headache. My guess is that our daily summer rainstorm is on its way. Just in time for AJ and I to play three games of tennis.
Why am I in a bad mood? Anybody up for chillin' tonight?
