Sounds like my day yesterday, except that I'm the opposite of you and have little/no professional success. Gotta get off my ass.

To you, I don't know what advice to offer; I'm not much in that predicament.

wasn't really looking for advice there. I was just venting because I need to do that sometimes (okay, frequently) but thanks for your concern otherwise.

Good point. Advice is annoying sometimes. I suppose it's just the best way I know to reply at times. Maybe I'll take it easy in the future.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant: don't feel bad if you can't come up with any good advice because I wasn't really looking for any. Sorry about that.

Coming to realizations about yourself is one of the hardest things you can do. Im sure you arnt always thinking negative thoughts but the times that you are being positive you probably just dont notice because you are happy. This is the case with a lot of people. Its easy to say that change is impossible but I know its not. Its easy to get lost on your computer, I know I spend a lot of time on mine also, but I bet you can find something you enjoy elsewhere. Try going to the beach/park and just going for walks. Who knows it might stimulate your creativity even more. Also you should try to work with what you are good at. If you are good at telling stories, try and share them with people in person. If you get out and try new things you WILL find things you like to do more than be on your computer given some effort and time.

That's true about it being hard. I should take walks and things, that would really help, especially when stimulating the creativity part because you only need one thing to get you going on a story when you're in the mindset, and it can be anything. I've cut back on my computer time significantly because my computer crashed and I lost my LAN connection so I've been doing all of my business and otherwise in the computer lab... it also forces me to work faster because I really really don't like the computer lab.
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep everyone posted when things start looking up.
