some closure
well i heard back from 311's manager, peter raspler. for those of you who don't know, the long story short of it is that i put together a little packet proposing i go on 311's summer tour with them to document it with a blog and my camera and such. i put all my 311 appreciation and marketing savvy into it, and a few of you were great help while i was revising it. his response was what i was coming to expect as the tour approached and i'd still heard nothing. basically, they appreciate the effort i made, loved the idea, but don't have the resources at the moment to make it happen. oh well. i'm no longer just shouting in an empty room. the dialouge has begun. 311 is a band that's down for the long haul, and so am i.
