"I saw that. Brick killed a guy!"

Just posting this to give a heads-up. I'm in Oxford, staying at my friend Robert's house. It's late, and can't from anything from here. The neighborhood is underwater, no doubt about that. Kate Magandy from the Sun Hearld reported that Mary Mahoney's and the Sports Pub and various other familiar Coast landmarks are gone. About 30 people died in one of the Biloxi apartment complexes (not sure which one yet). The Beau Rivage got water to at least the 2nd story, some reports have it on the 3rd. The Grand is probably washed up too. Didn't notice many other trailers leaving St. Andrews, just cars mainly. Most people were probably like us, tired of hauling all their crap during each evac. Our neighbors across the street decided to stay. I really hope they got out in time. Doubt roof riding would be much of an option during that. 30 foot storm surge equals very bad times. As an analogy for this storm, I keep thinking of Brick Tamland in "Anchorman". Sure, he seems mildly retarded, and you've seen other goofs in similar spoofs, usually full of bluster but not really delivering the goods. Then when the fight breaks out, he's throwing a trident into your chest and admitting, "I stabbed a man in the heart." Hell, he could be Posideon and the whole "that escalated quickly" scene could be a re-enactment of Greek gods (with Ron Burgundy as Zeus, Champ Kind as Ares, and that guy from Clueless as Apollo). Don't ask me why I keep thinking about that right now, it's just how this brain works.
