Ok, so I really wanted to go to Slovinia and teach english a while back. Well, thanks to the movie "Hostel" I doubt I'll even go there for coffee.
One of the main reasons of why I found the movie so disturbing is because this sort of thing could totally happen. I won't get into the details because it is pretty horrific, although at Ed Gein's house it would a perfectly normal day. If you really like blood and guts and torture then this movie is for you.
It did have a bit of social commentary on how numb and disconnected people are becoming not only with the earth, but with other humans as well. But, even so it's still pretty fucked up.
