Sad news
My colleague at work just told me his brother died, back in the States. And he can't go back to say goodbye.
I love my brother, we've been through hell and back. Please, if you have a sibling, remember, no matter how close you are, he or she was among your first friends in this life. Not to be too preachy, but, tell him or her that, as often as you can.
I know that walking this Earth without my brother would be...bleak to say the least. We're close even though it's been a couple of years since we last physically saw each other.
Death only happens once. If you love someone, tell them today, you never know what will happen.
Also, it's when this sort of thing happens that I'm glad lj is around.
