I'm learning about binding events to elements at the moment. The course rather assumes a greater knowledge of html than i actualyl have, although i'm not finding that too much of a problem. What is annoying me, however, is that a lot of what i'm being taught primarily is specific to IE with the code that works in any browser being offered as an after thought.

Right now i'm looking at what they're calling SCRIPT...FOR binding. I can see that it would be very useful, but again it only works in IE. Is there an alternative that could be used with any browser (i've already learnt about binding event handlers to individual elements, which seems to work quite nicely)?

Cheers! :)
