the good thing about the flu
So the good thing about having the flu is that when you're burning up of fever, ya pretty much skip the psycho-drama PMS stuff, lmao!
Sweetie got in last night to take care of me. We leave for LA tomorrow night. It's not going to be the weekend I had planned since he has to work Saturday too AND the friggin' Killers are NOT opening the HOB show on Friday. Ugh...oh well. Considering how deathly sick I was a couple of days ago, I can't really complain about anything. So I'm not gonna. Just happy to get out of here for a few days, soak up some sun and eat sushi! Would probably just as soon take a pass on hearing the boss although I am interested in seeing how the new bass player responds to the whole deal. He's a pro though...should be fine. Hopefully alot better than fine. I'd like to just stand near the front and enjoy the show, but I'm not sure I'm going to be strong enough for that by Friday. Plus, I really want to take some pictures which I can't (or shouldn't) do from the house. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. Not too many of "the kids" will be there, so I'll probably feel kinda obligated to exhaust myself cheering in the house.
Why am I sitting hear talking to myself when I could just call V to come get me? (The whole office is practically shut down 'cause everyone's sick). Shit...I'm outta here! If I come back with pictures, you'll know what I decided to do! (Maybe the crowd will be thin enough for both!)
